(transcript from original script)
Panel 1:
We cut to Sam in a cell, their hair is much longer and they are in a gray prison jumpsuit. The cell is sparsely populated. There's a bed they are sitting on with a digital tablet next to them, a toilet, a sink with a glass. The walls are large beige bricks and their entrance is jail bars. Potentially make this a wide panel - like establishing the space.
Tablet: 2 hour daily reading limit reached. Time reset in 14 hours.
Layout Note: What if panels 2-5 are very vertical thin panels, so it looks like they are split by prison bars?
Panel 2:
We see Sam in the line with other people in jumpsuits heading to the showers. There is a sign that reads "Showers" in bold letters. There’s no door to the showers, just the queuing line.
Panel 3:
Sam is in the line to the cafeteria, very similar to the line for the showers. There is a sign that reads "Cafeteria".
Panel 4:
Sam is in the line to go outside, once more, similar to the other lines. There is a sign that says "Outside".
Panel 5:
There’s a chain link fence in front of Sam. We, the audience see Sam sitting on a bench, looking through back at them. Behind them, other inmates are talking in groups and the other end of the yard is in the background.
Panel 6:
We change the view now, seeing what Sam sees - an endless ocean outside. This should be another full length panel but I feel like potentially having it as miniscule, or maybe we see the island as this tiny rock in a vast ocean gets the idea.
